Terms of Service

Effective 19 August 2026

These Terms of Service (the Terms) govern access to and use of HuskyScout, including the website, free tools, audits, AI-visibility probes, insights, content generation, publishing, APIs and MCP server at huskyscout.net.

Questions: [email protected]

1. Operator and agreement

HuskyScout is operated by the operator of huskyscout.net, trading as HuskyScout. A registered legal entity is not yet in place. Until one is named on this page, these Terms are an agreement between you and that operator. When an entity is registered, it becomes the contracting party, this section will name it, and continued use is acceptance of that substitution.

By using the service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy at https://huskyscout.net/privacy. If you use HuskyScout on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

HuskyScout measures how findable a domain is in search and inside AI answers, and can generate and publish content aimed at the gaps those measurements show. The free audit, free tools and public agent surface (OpenAPI, MCP, llms.txt, markdown mirrors) require no account. Paid features (when billing is enabled) may include scheduled re-probes, competitor tracking, article generation, CMS publishing and higher limits.

The service is provided as-is for production use as it currently exists. Features described as planned, waitlisted or gated on other work are not a promise that they will ship on a date.

We do not sell backlink exchanges, link schemes, or fabricated first-person expertise. Generated articles are held to a public quality rubric, including honest-sourcing rules. We do not guarantee rankings, citations, traffic or revenue.

3. Accounts, waitlist and access

You may use keyless features by submitting a domain or tool input. Rate limits apply per IP per day and exist to keep the free surface usable, not as a service-level promise.

If you join the waitlist or create an account, you must provide an accurate email address and keep any credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at the support address if you believe an account is compromised.

We may refuse, suspend or terminate access for abuse, legal risk, non-payment, or a material breach of these Terms.

4. Your content and our license

You retain whatever rights you already have in your sites, trademarks, CMS content and the articles we generate for you. Submitting a domain is a request that we fetch publicly reachable pages and third-party data about that domain.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to crawl, store, analyze, display and (where you ask us to publish) transmit that material as needed to run the service: reports, probes, insights, generation, CMS publishing, indexing pings, and support.

Generated articles are yours to use. We may keep copies as needed to operate the product (history, quality scoring, republish, dispute) and may use aggregated or de-identified measurements to improve HuskyScout.

Do not submit secrets in a public page we will crawl. CMS credentials and Google Search Console tokens are stored so we can act on your instructions; treat those connections as privileged.

5. Acceptable use

You may not, and may not allow others to:

  • Probe, crawl or generate content about a domain you do not own or are not authorized to assess.
  • Use the service to send spam, malware, or to attack, scrape or overload third-party systems beyond what the product is built to do.
  • Circumvent rate limits, impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Resell, wrap or bulk-automate the free tools or APIs in a way that degrades the service for others, except through the documented MCP and REST interfaces within the published limits.
  • Use HuskyScout to operate a link scheme, private blog network, or any arrangement whose purpose is to manipulate search rankings through reciprocal or paid links.
  • Submit unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.

6. AI models and third-party answers

AI-visibility probes send buyer-intent prompts to third-party answer engines (including via OpenRouter). Article generation sends a brief, voice samples from your site, and related context to a language model. Those providers, and the engines behind them, process that input under their own terms.

Model output is probabilistic. Mentions, citations, scores and generated copy can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing generated articles before you publish them live, including the quality floor we apply to live publishes.

We do not claim that a probe run is a complete picture of every AI product on the internet. The engines we query are listed in the product and may change.

7. Paid plans and billing

Prices on the marketing site are launch prices and may change. Billing is handled by Stripe when checkout is enabled. Taxes, if any, are added where required.

Subscriptions renew until cancelled. You can cancel through the customer portal or by emailing support; cancellation stops the next renewal and does not refund the current period unless the law requires it or we agree otherwise.

We may suspend a paid workspace for failed payment after notice to the account email.

8. Availability, support and changes

We aim for a reliable service and we do not offer an uptime SLA on the free surface. Paid plans, when live, still have no SLA unless a written order says otherwise.

Support is [email protected]. We read it. We do not promise a response time.

We may change, throttle or discontinue features. Material changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after the new date is acceptance. If a change is material and you have an account, we will also email the address on file when email delivery is live.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Search engines and AI answer engines are third parties we do not control.

Reports are evidence-backed measurements and recommendations, not legal, financial or professional advice. Scores are itemized against a published rubric; they are not a guarantee of Google, ChatGPT or any other ranking or citation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of HuskyScout is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from the service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period, or fifty euros if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. You may ask us to delete account data by emailing support (see the Privacy Policy for what we can delete and what we must retain).

On termination we stop providing the service to you. Sections that by nature should survive (including licenses already exercised, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) survive.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of huskyscout.net is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules. When a legal entity is registered, that entity's jurisdiction will be named here and will replace this sentence.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of that country have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court for misuse of the service or infringement of IP.
